The beautiful, little community of Frenchman Butte comes alive during the annual Frenchman Butte Museum Festival as family and friends gather to take in the day’s activities. The day begins with an open tent church service at 10:30 a.m., at 11 a.m. exhibits in the complex’s buildings open along with pioneer skills demonstrations take place including a working telegraph and bidding opens on the huge silent auction items. Street Parade at 1 p.m. on main street. Scrumptious roast beef supper at 5 p.m. concludes the day. Live entertainment throughout the day under the shade of a large tent.

Heritage Centre also invites visitors to check out the nearby Fort Pitt Provincial Park and the Frenchman Butte Battle National Historic Site.
