The Canadian Museum for Human Rights (CMHR) will take you on a journey of inspiration unlike anything you’ve experienced before. From the moment you enter through its massive stone roots, to the time you emerge in its light-filled Tower of Hope, you will be moved by the power of human rights. The first national Museum built outside of Ottawa, the rises from the Prairie soil in Winnipeg at The Forks, a historic meeting place for over six thousand years. The CMHR was built on Treaty One territory and in the heartland of the Métis people. An amazing encounter with human rights awaits families, tourists and scholars alike.
