Opened in 1974, Fort Edmonton Park is Canada’s largest living history museum. Four distinct eras in Edmonton’s history are brought to life with the help of costumed interpreters and programs that re-enact the past including: 1846 Fort & Cree Camp (fur trading era); 1885 Street (the settlement era); 1905 Street (Municipal Era); and 1920 Street & Midway (Metropolitan Era).
