The Humboldt & District Museum tells stories and displays artifacts from the founding and early and contemporary history of Humboldt, with exhibits changing and updating regularly. Please check our website www.humboldtmuseum.ca for the latest news.

The 1912 Post Office boasts three floors of displays including artifacts from the Original Humboldt site, the founding and early history of the city, and some of the businesses and people who built the city in later years. Be sure to see the clock which is over 100 years old and still wound by hand.

The Humboldt & District Gallery is directly across the street in the historic Merchants Bank of Canada building and hosts a regularly changing schedule of exhibits. See our website for the current exhibits.

While visiting the Museum or Gallery, be sure to pick up your complimentary copy of Original Humboldt: Telegraph, Trail and Turmoil 1878-1885. This booklet details the history of the Original Humboldt site and includes historic photos, excerpts from historic documents and the results of the annual archaeological excavations. This booklet is provided free of charge thanks to the Original Humboldt Committee who sponsored its publication.
